POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re searching for a vibrant, organised go-getter to become the friendly face of The Centre. This is no ordinary front desk gig, it’s a dynamic, hands-on role that’s equal parts people-person, problem-solver and behind-the-scenes coordinator. You'll be the first smile clients see when they walk through the door and the person that keeps our day-to-day running smoothly. From managing bookings and coordinating events, to supporting clients and lending a hand with light marketing tasks, you’ll be at the heart of everything we do.
KEY DETAILS:
Part Time - 8:30am - 3pm
3-4 days a week, flexible with hours.
~$30/hour, plus super
Location: 5 Radford Place, Bairnsdale, VIC, 3875
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Front Desk

Warmly welcome clients, guests, and practitioners upon arrival
-
Manage appointments, bookings, and enquiries (in person, phone, email)

Provide excellent customer service and concierge support

Admin duties
Operations & Support
-
Assist with day-to-day operations of the centre
-
Set up and pack down rooms for events, workshops, and functions
-
Assist Events with set up of AV equipment
-
Order and coordinate catering and supplies as needed
-
Perform light cleaning and maintain a tidy, welcoming environment
Marketing & Events
-
Work with our marketing coordinator to create and schedule basic content for social media (especially Facebook and Instagram)

Assist in the set up and promotion of events via Facebook, Eventbrite, or similar platforms
-
Assist in designing flyers, email campaigns, or digital materials when required (support/training can be provided, experience preferred)

Support event logistics and delivery, including registration and attendee communications

Essential Skills & Attributes

Friendly, professional, and polished front-of-house presence

Administrative experience in some capacity

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Confident using booking systems and online platforms (Microsoft Office Suite, Facebook, Canva, etc.)

Good written and verbal communication skills

Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during events (if required)

Self-motivated and proactive
Desirable (but not essential)

Experience in a wellness or hospitality environment

Basic understanding of social media content creation and scheduling

Interest in wellness, events or holistic therapies

Tech troubleshooting confidence
