Epworth Healthcare Specialists Now Consulting at The Centre

Epworth HealthCare specialists have now commenced consulting services at The Centre Combined Health in Bairnsdale, bringing a range of specialist medical care closer to home for people across East Gippsland.

Epworth HealthCare is Victoria’s largest not-for-profit private hospital group. Through this partnership, several Epworth specialists now travel to East Gippsland and use The Centre as their consulting base when visiting the region.

We couldn’t be more proud to be part of helping deliver specialist care closer to home. Enabling greater accessibility and exposure to specialist assistance is just the beginning in our aim to strengthen the already strong medical support we have here in East Gippsland.

For many locals, accessing specialist care has traditionally meant long trips to Melbourne or other major centres. By consulting from The Centre, these specialists are able to see patients locally for appointments, treatment discussions and follow-up care, making it far easier for people in our community to access the expertise they need without the stress, cost and time of travelling long distances.

Specialists currently consulting from The Centre cover a range of areas including general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, robotic surgery, sports & trauma surgery and cardiothoracic surgery, with doctors such as Dr Jonathan Robin, Dr Roshan Ariyaratnam, Dr Richard Pennington and Dr Jazmin Eckhaus visiting the region or are able to see patients via Telehealth out of The Centre.

Each specialist visits East Gippsland on scheduled consulting days, with those dates listed within their individual profiles on our Epworth Healthcare page. From there, patients can learn more about each doctor’s background and areas of expertise, and book directly with the specialist’s office using the contact details provided.
